Cefaclor Monohydrate, a cephalosporin antibiotic, and is used to treat bacterial infections.
Indications:
Soficlor Oral Suspension is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms, including:
  • Otitis media (middle ear infections)
  • Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia)
  • Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., pharyngitis, tonsillitis)
  • Urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis, pyelonephritis)
  • Skin and skin structure infections
Instructions:
  1. Dosage: The usual adult dosage is 250 mg every 8 hours. For more severe infections, doses may be doubled.
  2. Administration: Shake the bottle well before each dose. Take the suspension orally, following the prescribed dosage by your healthcare provider.
  3. Reconstitution: To prepare the suspension, shake to loosen the powder, add water to the 60 ml mark, and shake well.
  4. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. After reconstitution, store in the refrigerator and discard any unused portion after 7 days.
  5. Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Inform your doctor if you have any allergies or are taking other medications.
