Indication:
PAXLOVID is indicated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in adults and pediatric patients (aged 12 years and older) who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death.
Instructions:

1. Dosage: The recommended dosage is two nirmatrelvir tablets (300 mg) and one ritonavir tablet (100 mg) taken together orally twice daily. The treatment course is 5 days.
2. Administration:
   • Take the tablets with or without food.
   • Swallow the tablets whole; do not chew, break, or crush them.
3. Precautions:
   • Start treatment as soon as possible after a COVID-19 diagnosis and within 5 days of symptom onset.
   • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible within 8 hours. If more than 8 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and resume the regular schedule.
   • Inform your doctor if you have any kidney issues or are taking other medications.
4. Warnings:
   • Allergic Reactions: Seek immediate medical attention if you experience signs of an allergic reaction.
   • Drug Interactions: Avoid taking PAXLOVID with certain medications.
   • Side Effects: Common side effects include changes in taste, diarrhea, and nausea.
