Content (Ingredients)
- Active Ingredient: Terazosin 2 mg per tablet

Indications (Uses)
Hytrin is indicated for:
- Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): As a peripheral vasodilator, either alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents such as thiazide diuretics or beta-blockers.
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): For the symptomatic treatment of urinary obstruction caused by BPH, by relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck
Instructions (How to Use)
- Dosage for Hypertension:
- Initial Dose: 1 mg before bedtime.
- Maintenance Dose: 2–10 mg once daily, adjusted based on individual response.
- Dosage for BPH:
- Initial Dose: 1 mg before bedtime.
- Maintenance Dose: 5–10 mg once daily, adjusted based on individual response .
- Administration: Take the tablet whole with water, with or without food.
- Precautions:
- May cause dizziness or drowsiness, especially after the first dose or dose increase.
- Avoid standing up quickly to reduce the risk of fainting.
- Use with caution in patients with liver impairment; dose adjustment may be necessary.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
