Zometa 4mg/100ml Solution for Infusion contains 4 mg of zoledronic acid per 100 ml. Zoledronic acid is a bisphosphonate used to treat bone-related complications in cancer patients.
Indications:

• Bone Metastases: Prevention of skeletal-related events (pathological fractures, spinal compression, radiation or surgery to bone) in patients with advanced malignancies involving bone.
• Hypercalcemia of Malignancy: Treatment of high blood calcium levels due to cancer.
• Multiple Myeloma: Treatment of patients with multiple myeloma and bone metastases from solid tumors, in conjunction with standard antineoplastic therapy.

Instructions:

1. Administration: Administered as a single-use intravenous infusion over no less than 15 minutes.
2. Dosage: 4 mg as a single-use intravenous infusion every 3-4 weeks for patients with creatinine clearance greater than 60 mL/min.
3. Timing: Administered every 3-4 weeks.
4. Monitoring: Regular monitoring of serum calcium, renal function, and other relevant parameters is essential.
