Moxifloxacin HEC 400 mg film-coated tablets contain 400 mg of moxifloxacin hydrochloride, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria.
Indications:

• Community-Acquired Pneumonia: Treatment of pneumonia acquired outside of hospitals.
• Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis: Managing sudden worsening of chronic bronchitis.
• Acute Bacterial Sinusitis: Treating sinus infections.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Managing infections of the skin and soft tissues.
• Pelvic Inflammatory Disease: Treating mild to moderate infections of the female upper genital tract.

Instructions:

1. Dosage: Take 400 mg orally once every 24 hours.
2. Administration: Take the tablet with or without food.
3. Consistency: Take it at the same time each day to help you remember.
4. Duration: Complete the full course of therapy as prescribed by your doctor, even if you start to feel better.
