DBL® Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate Concentrated Injection contains monobasic potassium phosphate (potassium dihydrogen phosphate) as its active ingredient. Each mL of the injection contains 1 mmol of potassium.
Indications:
This injection is used for the treatment of severe hypophosphataemia (serum phosphate levels less than 0.3 mmol/L) and other degrees of hypophosphataemia when oral therapy is not possible.
Instructions:

1. Dosage: The dosage should be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs. For severe hypophosphataemia, the suggested dose is up to 10 mmol of phosphate.
2. Method of Administration: The injection should be administered by slow intravenous infusion. It must be diluted before use, typically in 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% glucose solution.
3. Monitoring: Serum sodium, potassium, phosphate, and calcium concentrations, as well as renal function, should be monitored every 12 to 24 hours during therapy.
4. Conversion to Oral Therapy: Conversion to oral phosphate therapy should occur as soon as possible.
5. Dosage Adjustments: For patients with renal impairment, the dose should be reduced. Use of phosphates in severe renal impairment is contraindicated.
