AA-Nitrofurantoin Tablet 100mg contains Nitrofurantoin 100mg. Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by susceptible bacteria.
Indications:

• Urinary Tract Infections: Treatment of acute uncomplicated UTIs, including cystitis and pyelonephritis.

Instructions:

• Dosage: Typically, 100mg taken 4 times daily, but follow your doctor's prescription.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Take it at regular intervals to maintain consistent levels in your body.
• Precautions: Avoid if you have severe kidney impairment (creatinine clearance under 40 ml/min), are pregnant at term, or have a known hypersensitivity to nitrofurantoin. Use with caution if you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, as it may cause hemolytic anemia.
