• Active Ingredient: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (15mg/5ml)

Indications:

• Purpose: Used for the relief of dry cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation occurring with colds or inhaled irritants.
• Mechanism: Suppresses the cough reflex by a direct effect on the cough center in the brain.

Instructions:

• Adults: Take 1-2 teaspoonfuls (5-10ml) 3-4 times daily.
• Children (6-12 years): Take 1 teaspoonful (5ml) 3-4 times daily.
• Children (2-5 years): Take 1/2 teaspoonful (2.5ml) 3-4 times daily.
• Precautions: Shake well before use. Follow all directions given by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Warnings: Not to be used in children less than 2 years old. Use with caution in children 2-6 years old. Avoid if allergic to any ingredients or if taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
