Pridrinatetablet 50mg contains dimenhydrinate as its active ingredient. Dimenhydrinate is an antihistamine with anticholinergic and sedative properties.

Indications:

• Prevention and treatment of motion sickness
• Symptomatic treatment of vertigo due to Meniere’s disease (a disorder of the inner ear that affects hearing and balance)

Instructions:

• Adults: Take 50mg to 100mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 400mg within 24 hours.
• Children (6 to 12 years): Take 25mg to 50mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 150mg within 24 hours.
• Preventive dose: Take the first dose 30 to 60 minutes before traveling or engaging in activities that may trigger motion sickness.
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as it can increase drowsiness.
• Caution: Do not use if you have glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or breathing problems such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis.
