Content:
  • Gentamicin Sulphate: 0.3% w/v (an aminoglycoside antibiotic)
  • Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate: 0.1% w/v (a corticosteroid)
  • Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% w/v
Indications:
GENTA-DEX EYE DROPS are used for treating allergic and inflammatory conditions of the eye with superficial bacterial infections, such as:
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Keratitis
  • Blepharitis
  • Corneal ulcers
  • Acute meibomianitis
  • Dacryocystitis
  Instructions:
  1. Dosage: Instill two drops into the affected eye three to four times daily.
  2. Administration:
    • Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
    • Hold the dropper above your eye and squeeze out the prescribed number of drops.
    • Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes, and gently press the corner of your eye near the nose to prevent the liquid from draining away.
  3. Precautions: Ensure that any fungal infection has been eliminated before using the drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye.
