Dexatrol Eye Drops contain the following active ingredients:
  • Dexamethasone (1 mg per ml): A corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation.
  • Neomycin (3.5 mg per ml): An antibiotic that helps prevent bacterial infections.
  • Polymyxin B (6000 units per ml): Another antibiotic that works against a variety of bacteria.
Indications:
Dexatrol Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of:
  • Inflammatory ocular conditions: Such as uveitis, keratitis, and scleritis.
  • Bacterial eye infections: Including bacterial conjunctivitis and blepharoconjunctivitis.
  • Prevention of infection: Following eye surgery or injury.
Instructions:
  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before using the eye drops.
  2. Remove contact lenses if you wear them.
  3. Tilt your head back and look up.
  4. Gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
  5. Hold the dropper above your eye and squeeze out a drop into the pocket.
  6. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes and gently press the corner of your eye to prevent the liquid from draining away.
  7. Repeat for the other eye if necessary.
  8. Wait 15 minutes before reinserting contact lenses.
  9. Follow your doctor's instructions on dosage and frequency.
