Each Afinitor 10 mg tablet contains 10 mg of everolimus and 297 mg of lactose as an excipient.
Indications:
Afinitor is used to treat several conditions, including:

• Advanced hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer in postmenopausal women, in combination with exemestane.
• Progressive neuroendocrine tumors of pancreatic origin that are unresectable or metastatic.
• Advanced renal cell carcinoma after failure of treatment with VEGF-targeted therapy.
• Renal angiomyolipoma and tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) in adults.
• Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) associated with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) in patients who require therapeutic intervention but are not candidates for curative surgical resection.

Instructions:

• Dosage: The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily, with or without food.
• Administration: Take the tablet orally, swallowing it whole with water.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, do not take an additional dose; simply take the next dose as scheduled.
• Monitoring: Treatment should be initiated and supervised by a physician experienced in the use of anticancer therapies.
• Adjustments: Dose adjustments may be necessary based on individual tolerability and the presence of adverse reactions.
