HUMIRA Solution for Injection in Prefilled Syringe (80mg/0.8mL) contains adalimumab, a human monoclonal antibody. It is used to treat various inflammatory conditions by targeting and neutralizing tumor necrosis factor (TNFα), which is involved in inflammation.
Indications:
HUMIRA is indicated for the treatment of:

• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (aged above 2 years)
• Axial spondyloarthritis (ankylosing spondylitis and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis)
• Psoriatic arthritis
• Enthesitis-related arthritis in children aged 6 years and above
• Psoriasis in adults and children aged 4 years and above
• Crohn’s disease in adults and children aged 6 years and above
• Ulcerative colitis in adults and children aged 6 years and above
• Hidradenitis suppurativa in adults and adolescents
• Uveitis in adults and children aged 2 years and above

Instructions:

1. Storage: Store in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze.
2. Preparation: Before injecting, allow the syringe to reach room temperature (15-25°C) and inspect it for particles or discoloration.
3. Administration: Inject subcutaneously (under the skin) into the abdomen or thigh. Rotate injection sites.
4. Dosage: Follow your doctor's prescription. Typically, it is administered every other week.
5. Monitoring: Regularly monitor for signs of infection, as HUMIRA can lower your ability to fight infections.
