Indications:
BETAMOX Granules are used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

• Upper Respiratory Tract Infections: Sinusitis, Pharyngitis, Tonsillitis
• Lower Respiratory Tract Infections: Bronchitis, Pneumonia
• Ear, Nose, and Throat Infections: Otitis media
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Cystitis, Pyelonephritis
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections
• Gastrointestinal Infections: Helicobacter pylori eradication (as part of combination therapy)
• Prophylaxis for Endocarditis in certain high-risk patients undergoing dental or surgical procedures

Instructions:

1. Reconstitution: Add the specified amount of sterile or boiled and cooled water to the granules and shake well until a uniform suspension forms.
2. Dosage:
   • Adults and Children >12 years: 500 mg (10 mL) every 8 hours.
   • Children 3 months–12 years: 20–40 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 8 hours (or as directed).
   • Children <3 months: 20 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 12 hours.
3. Duration: Typically 7–14 days, depending on the severity and type of infection.
4. Storage: Before reconstitution, store at room temperature (15–25°C). After reconstitution, store in the refrigerator (2–8°C) and use within 7–14 days2.
