Axcel Dexchlorpheniramine Tablet contains Dexchlorpheniramine Maleate as its active ingredient.
Indications:
Axcel Dexchlorpheniramine Tablet is used for the symptomatic relief of various allergic conditions, including:

• Hay fever
• Vasomotor rhinitis (inflammation of nasal membranes)
• Urticaria (hives)
• Allergic eczema
• Insect bites
• Pruritus (itching)

Instructions:

• Dosage for Adults: Take 1 tablet (2mg) orally 3 or 4 times daily.
• Dosage for Children (6-12 years): Half a tablet (1mg) 3 or 4 times daily.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have conditions like glaucoma, asthma, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, or prostate enlargement. Also, let your doctor know if you are taking other medications.
• Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended dose. Overdose symptoms may include restlessness, convulsions, and severe hypotension. Seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose.
• Side Effects: May include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal disturbances. If sedative effects occur, they may diminish after a few days.
