Kotamin Tablet 4mg contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg. It is an antihistamine used to treat various allergic conditions1.
Indications:
Kotamin is indicated for conditions requiring antihistamine therapy, such as:

• Hay fever
• Vasomotor rhinitis
• Urticaria (hives)
• Angioneurotic edema
• Food allergies
• Drug and serum reactions
• Atopic and contact dermatitis
• Allergic eczema
• Pruritus ani et vulvae
• Insect bites

Instructions:

• Dosage for Adults: One tablet, up to four times daily as required.
• Dosage for Children (6-12 years): 2-4mg three or four times daily.
• Administration: Oral.
• Precautions: Avoid alcohol as it can increase drowsiness. Be cautious if you have conditions like narrow-angle glaucoma, stenotic peptic ulcer, or urinary bladder obstruction1.
• Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to chlorpheniramine or MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors).
