Content & Indications

• Content: Each 5ml of suspension contains 200mg of Azithromycin.

• Indications: Used to treat infections caused by certain bacteria and other micro-organisms, including:

  • Chest, throat, ear, or nasal infections (such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, acute otitis media, and sinusitis)

  • Skin and soft tissue infections (such as abscesses or boils)

  • Sexually transmitted diseases caused by organisms called Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea

  • Prevention of infections by Mycobacterium avium-intracellulare complex (MAC) in certain individuals

Instructions for Use

• Administration: For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using the provided measuring spoon and take it by mouth.

• Food Intake: May be taken with or without food. Taking it with meals may reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.

• Alcohol Warning: It is not recommended to consume alcohol with this medication, as it may enhance side effects such as headache, dizziness, fatigue, and blurred vision.

• Pregnancy: May be safe to use during pregnancy; however, consult your doctor before use.

• Breastfeeding: Not recommended during breastfeeding, as the medication is excreted in breast milk.

• Driving: Usually does not affect the ability to drive; however, do not drive if you feel unwell.

• Kidney and Liver Impairment: Use with caution in patients with severe kidney or liver impairment; dose adjustment may be necessary.
