• Active Ingredients: Lidocaine 2.5% w/w and Prilocaine 2.5% w/w.
• Presentation: White to off-white colored, water-miscible cream.

 Indications:

• Surface Anaesthesia: Used to numb the skin for needle insertion and superficial surgical procedures.
• Leg Ulcers: Applied to numb the skin prior to cleaning and surgical procedures.
• Genital Mucosa: Used to numb the genital area before medical procedures such as wart removal.

 Instructions:

1. Application: Apply a thick layer of cream to the area to be numbed.
2. Occlusive Dressing: Cover the area with an occlusive dressing (e.g., plastic wrap) to enhance absorption.
3. Waiting Time: Allow the cream to act for 1-2 hours for intact skin. For leg ulcers, 30 minutes may be sufficient, but 60 minutes can improve anaesthesia.
4. Procedure: Start the medical procedure within 10 minutes of removing the dressing.
5. Duration: The anaesthesia lasts for at least 2 hours after removing the dressing.
