  Indications

• Emergency treatment of anaphylactic shock due to insect bites, drugs, or other allergens.

• Symptomatic relief of serum sickness, urticaria, pruritus, and angioneurotic oedema.

• Management of respiratory distress due to bronchospasm.

• Relief of hypersensitivity reactions to drugs and other allergens.

  Instructions for Use

• Dosage:

  • Bronchodilator (Subcutaneous): Initially 200 to 500 mcg (0.2 to 0.5 mg), repeated every 20 minutes to 4 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 1 mg per dose.

  • Anaphylactic Reactions (Intramuscular or Subcutaneous): Initially 200 to 500 mcg (0.2 to 0.5 mg), repeated every 10 to 15 minutes if necessary, up to a maximum of 1 mg per dose.

• Administration: Administer via intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) injection.

• Storage: Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture.

• Precautions: Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or hypertension.

• Drug Interactions: May interact with halogenated inhalation anaesthetics, β- or α-blocking agents, methyldopa, guanethidine, drugs with vasoconstrictor and pressor effects, antihypertensives, adrenergic neuron blockers, potassium-depleting drugs, cardiac glycosides, ephedra, yohimbe, and tricyclic antidepressants.
