Indications

• Monotherapy: For the treatment of partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and older with newly diagnosed epilepsy.
• Adjunctive Therapy: For the treatment of partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and children aged 4 years and older with epilepsy; myoclonic seizures in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy; primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older with idiopathic generalized epilepsy.

Instructions

• Dosage: The usual adult dose is 500 mg twice daily, which may be increased to a maximum of 1,500 mg twice daily depending on clinical response and tolerability.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
• Storage: Store below 30°C, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
