Indications

• Management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure of unknown cause).

• Treatment of oedematous conditions such as congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis with ascites and oedema, nephrotic syndrome, and malignant ascites.

• Diagnosis and treatment of primary hyperaldosteronism (Conn’s syndrome).

• Prevention and treatment of hypokalaemia induced by other diuretics.

• Adjunctive therapy in severe or resistant hypertension.

• Treatment of hirsutism (excessive body hair) in women.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: The dosage should be determined individually depending on the condition and the degree of diuresis required.

• Administration: Take orally with fluid and preferably with food to aid absorption.

• Storage: Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture.

• Precautions: Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment; dose adjustment may be necessary.

• Warnings: Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

• Alcohol Interaction: Alcohol may accentuate dizziness or fainting caused by this medication; concurrent use is not advised.
