Indications

Optimol 0.5% Eye Drops are indicated for:

• Open-angle glaucoma

• Ocular hypertension

These conditions involve elevated intraocular pressure, which can lead to optic nerve damage and potential vision loss if left untreated.
 

Dosage Instructions

• Initial Dosage: Instill 1 drop of 0.25% solution into the affected eye(s) twice daily.

• Adjustments: If there is inadequate response, increase to 1 drop of 0.5% solution twice daily.

• Maintenance: Once intraocular pressure is controlled, decrease to 1 drop once daily.

• Maximum Dosage: Do not exceed 1 drop twice daily of the 0.5% solution.

For gel-forming eye drops: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) once daily.
