Indications

Chloramine is indicated for:

• Symptomatic relief of perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), vasomotor rhinitis, and allergic conjunctivitis

• Relief of sneezing and runny nose associated with the common cold

• Treatment of pruritus (itching), urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), and dermatographism (skin reactions to pressure or friction)

Dosage Instructions

• Adults and Children over 12 years: 1 tablet (4 mg) every 4–6 hours, not exceeding 6 tablets (24 mg) in 24 hours

• Children 6–12 years: ½ tablet (2 mg) every 4–6 hours, not exceeding 3 tablets (12 mg) in 24 hours

• Administration: Take orally with or without food

• Elderly: Use with caution; consider reducing the daily dose to 12 mg due to increased sensitivity to anticholinergic effects
