Indications

• For the regular treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 4 years and above.

• For the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

 

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): Two inhalations of 25 mcg salmeterol and 250 mcg fluticasone propionate twice daily.

  • Children (≥4 years): Use only under doctor’s advice; typically two inhalations twice daily.

• How to Use:

  1. Shake the inhaler well before use.

  2. Exhale fully away from the inhaler.

  3. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, close lips tightly around it.

  4. Inhale deeply while pressing the canister to release a dose.

  5. Hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.

  6. Repeat steps if another dose is needed.

  7. Replace the cap after use.

• Precautions:

  • Not for relief of sudden asthma attacks; use a fast-acting inhaler instead.

  • Report any worsening symptoms or side effects to your healthcare provider.

  • Inform your doctor if you have heart conditions, high blood pressure, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
