Indications

Seretide Accuhaler 50/100mcg is indicated for:

  • Regular treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 4 years and older.

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema

 

Instructions

  • Dosage:

    • Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): One inhalation of 50 mcg salmeterol and 100 mcg fluticasone propionate twice daily.

    • Children (≥4 years): One inhalation of 50 mcg salmeterol and 100 mcg fluticasone propionate twice daily.

  • Administration:

    • Use the Accuhaler device to inhale the medication.

    • Do not exhale into the device.

    • After inhalation, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out to reduce the risk of oral thrush.

  • Precautions:

    • Do not use for acute asthma attacks; a fast-acting bronchodilator should be used instead.

    • Monitor for any signs of paradoxical bronchospasm; discontinue use if it occurs.

    • Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have a history of heart problems, high blood pressure, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
