Chronic hepatitis B & evidence of HBV replication in patients ≥16 yr.
 
Instruction
May be taken with or without food. Take 100 mg once daily.
 
Drug interaction
Increased exposure w/ trimethoprim/sulphamethoxazole. Increased C_max of zidovudine. Inhibited intracellular phosphorylation of emtricitabine. Decreased exposure by sorbitol.
