Indication
Early lyme disease & subsequent prevention of late Lyme disease in adult & childn >12 yr.
 
Instruction
Oral susp Lyme disease Adult & childn >12 yr 500 mg bd for 20 days.
 
Drug interaction
Increased serum t½ w/ probenecid. Lowered bioavailabity & tend to cancel the effects of postprandial absorption w/ drugs that reduce gastric acidity.
