Indications

Lisinopril STADA 20 mg is used for:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Symptomatic heart failure, as adjunct therapy with diuretics and/or digitalis

• Acute myocardial infarction (stable patients), in addition to standard therapy such as nitrates
   

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Hypertension: Start 5 mg once daily, titrate up to 20 mg daily; maximum 40 mg 

  • Heart failure: Start 2.5 mg once daily, titrate up to 35 mg daily

  • Post‑MI: Initial 5 mg, then 5 mg after 24 hrs, then 10 mg after 48 hrs; continue 10 mg daily for at least 6 weeks 

• Administration: Swallow whole with or without food, ideally at the same time each day

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless it's close to the next dose—do not double up.
