Content (Ingredients):

• Active Ingredient: Hydrocortisone 10 mg per tablet
• Dosage Form: White, round, flat tablets with beveled edges, scored for splitting into equal doses

Indications:
Hydrocortison Orion is used for:

• Hormone Replacement Therapy: Treatment of adrenal insufficiency (e.g., Addison’s disease) and hypopituitarism
• Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia: To control natural steroid production
• Other Conditions: Where systemic glucocorticoid therapy is required

Instructions (How to Use):

• Adult Dosage:
  • Replacement therapy: 20–30 mg daily, typically 2/3 in the morning and 1/3 in the afternoon
  • Other conditions: 40–200 mg daily; higher doses may be needed for certain conditions
• Pediatric Dosage: Adjusted according to body weight and clinical condition
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably after meals to reduce stomach irritation
• Precautions:
  • Use cautiously with active infections (bacterial, viral, fungal)
  • Monitor blood pressure, blood sugar, and bone function during long-term use
  • Do not stop treatment abruptly; taper dose gradually
  • Inform your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have a history of mental illness, stomach ulcers, hypertension, or osteoporosis
