Your baby can give you hints about what he likes better.Plastic bottles are lightweight and shatterproof, but they don't last as long as glass. In the past, some parents chose glass to avoid the chemical used in some plastic bottles called bisphenol A (BPA). Currently, all plastic bottles sold in the US are his BPA-free. Hybrid bottles have a plastic exterior to prevent breakage, with glass sandwiched between the plastic and the formula.

It can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher with soap and hot water. Do it every time you use it. We recommend hand washing plastic bottles, as some studies have shown that plastics can leach chemicals when exposed to high temperatures.

Give your newborn only expressed breast milk or formula, not water or juice. Mix the formulation exactly as directed on the label. Adding too much water will dilute the formula and retain nutrients. Alternatively, you can use a bottle warmer. Do not use the microwave. It can cause hot spots that can burn your baby's mouth. Shake the formula and place a drop on your hand to test the temperature. Do not test your wrist as it is sensitive to heat.

Place a bib on top and have a cloth handy to wipe up spilled milk or formula. Then rock her with her head slightly higher than the rest of her body. Hold a bottle and watch them eat. You can tell when your baby is ready by looking at your baby. Try to burp during her meals so she doesn't vomit.

Great for gluing and more secure. Leaving the bottle upright increases the risk of choking and tooth decay. It can also cause ear infections. Enjoy your bottle time!

Create expressions as needed. Do not mix large batches. Be sure to discard any remaining formula in the bottle. Refrigerate opened packs of liquid formulations immediately and use within 48 hours. Once mixed, the powder formula can be stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours. If the formula has been sitting for more than 1 hour, discard it. Breast milk should be refrigerated and consumed within 7 days. Or freeze. Breast milk will last 3 months in a regular 0°F freezer and 6 months in the freezer.
